Almost half of our new members have no previous training in any martial art, and the other half have some sort of training. We now have amongst our ranks and associates many previous instructors, ex military personnel, and mixed martial art fighters!

Everyone starts at a level appropriate for their existing skills, and advances at their own pace. No matter what your background or fitness level, our instructors are trained to make your transition into the Academy an enjoyable one.

The Silat Combat Academy excels in the use and instruction of impact and bladed weaponry. No dead drills taught here, only real world warrior traditional fighting techniques passed on to this generation.
Here the Mushir Han displays his love and affection for his personally crafted Yatargan ( an Osmanli Yeniceri blade replica from the 17th century) handcrafred and presented to him as a gift from a family devoted to the ideals and principles of the Academy teaching methods.

ACADEMY PROTOCOL
Our modern and safe training methods, professional instructors & friendly members will give you everything you are looking for in a training academy. You will NOT be required to sign a long term contract or give us your credit card details! All we request in return is your dedication to your training. We are not a commercial martials arts club in the ordinary sense but rather our focus is upon producing fighters of exceptional quality and skill. We therefore are not driven by the desire to make a buck out of sincere people. We have a strong ethic and moral code which all members must adhere to.
